Um sich Inhalte aus EduVid anzusehen, ist keine Anmeldung und somit kein Konto nötig. Wenn sie aber Autorrechte haben wollen, um beispielsweise Videos hochzuladen oder Videos bewerten und kommentieren wollen , ist eine Anmeldung mit einem Teckids-Account notwendig.
EduVid ist öffentlich zugänglich, somit kann theoretisch jeder die dort hochgeladene Inhalte sehen. Übelegen Sie sich also bitte mit Bedacht, was Sie der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung stellen.
Für die Nutzung einiger Dienste ist ein Teckids-Account notwendig. Dieser ist frei registrierbar. Die Nutzungsbedingungen und der Betrieb der Dienste erlauben die Anmeldung ohne rechtliche Hürden auch für Schülerinnen und Schüler, sofern diese auch einen Account benötigen.
Über unsere Verwaltungssoftware [TIC-Desk](https://ticdesk.teckids.org) kann sich jeder einen [Account registrieren](https://ticdesk.teckids.org/account/register). Hierbei müssen unbedingt korrekte Daten verwendet werden, da wir Accounts mit offensichtlich falschen Angaben leider sperren müssen. Die erforderlichen persönlichen Angaben erfüllen die Anforderungen sowohl an Datensparsamkeit als auch den Jugendschutz.
Der [Teckids e.V.](https://www.teckids.org/) ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, in dem Schülerinnen und Schüler, Pädagogen und Informatiker gemeinsam freie Software für die Bildung mitentwickeln und für in der Bildung tätige betreiben und unterstützen. Die teamübergreifende Gruppe, die den Ausbau des Betriebs der angebotenen Dienste in der aktuellen Situation durchführt tut dies nach bester Möglichkeit. Wir danken insbesondere Kirill Schmidt, Benedict Suska, Tom Teichler, Philipp Stahl, Jakob Kirsch und Jonah Döll (10 bis 16 Jahre) für ihren Einsatz.
Der Verein und die Aktiven freuen sich über finanzielle und aktive Unterstützung, wenn durch die Angebote Herausforderungen erleichtert werden konnten.
Sollten wir durch die Angebote das Interesse an der Bereitstellung freier und offener Werkzeuge geweckt haben, steht das Team per E-Mail-Anfrage auch für Präsentationen und Beratung an Schulen zur Verfügung.
Im Rahmen der FOSDEM, am 1. und 2. Februar 2020, stellten wir uns und unsere Projekte an einem Stand vor. Unser Projekt " <a href="https://schul-frei.org/"> schul-frei </a> " war mit einem Gemeinschaftsstand anwesend, einer kuratierten Auswahl von Freie-Software-Produkten. Außerdem wurde <a href="https://aleksis.org/"> AlekSIS </a> zum ersten Mal einem breiten Publikum präsentiert.
Die FOSDEM begann für uns Freitag Nachmittag mit der Abfahrt in Bonn. Wir fuhren mit zwei Autos nach Brüssel. Das erste Auto kam gegen Abend dort an. Zuerst begaben wir uns zur Uni und bereiteten dort den Stand für die kommenden Tage vor. Danach trafen wir uns mit den anderen aus dem zweiten Auto im Hostel.
An unserem Stand lag der Fokus vorallem auf unserem Projekt "Schul-frei" mit der Schulsoftware AlekSIS. Alexander, Andreas und Niels kümmerten sich um den Stand und tauschten sich mit bis zu 200 Leuten über Open Source in Schulen und deren Erfahrungen über anderer Schulsoftware aus. Bei diesen Gesprächen, unter anderem auch mit Beteiligen aus dem Bildungssystem, stellten wir fest, dass die meisten anderen Schulinformationssysteme unvollständig sind oder nur teilweise funktionieren.
