Hierbei wurde das veraltete Paket zunächst auf den neuesten Stand gebracht, Patches geprüft und aktualisiert sowie mit den xrdp-Entwicklern ausgetauscht. Es entstand pünktlich zur Veröffentlichung von Debian 9 (stretch) zum ersten Mal seit mehreren Jahren ein neues xrdp-Release, das auch direkt in der stabilen Debian-Version verfügbar war. Seitdem arbeitet das Team stetig an der Verbesserung und Aktualisierung des Pakets. Ebenfalls im Remote-Desktop-Kontext wurde das Paket für `5`<a href="https://guacamole.apache.org/"> Guacamole `6`</a> , einen webbasierten Remote-Desktop-Client, übernommen und nun gepflegt.

	Deutsch type: Content of: <html><body><html><body><p> `7`<a href="https://movim.eu/"> Movim `8`</a> ist ein webbasierter Jabber-Client, der neben den üblichen Chat-Funktionen auch volle Unterstützung für Microblogs und Microblog-Communities besitzt. Teckids setzt Movim seit 2017 als freies soziales Netzwerk für Kinder und Jugendliche ein und beabsichtigt, Movim als Lösung für Gruppenchats in Schulen zu etablieren. Bereits zu Beginn der Nutzung konnten wir verschiedene Bugs und Wünsche berichten sowie, gemeinsam mit dem norwegischen Skolelinux-Team, die Übersetzungen der Software auf Deutsch und Norwegisch vervollständigen. Im Rahmen des 34. Chaos Communication Congress fand dann ein Treffen mit Timothée Jaussoin, dem leitenden Movim-Entwickler, statt, bei dem wir über unsere Ideen zum Movim-Einsatz redeten sowie einen Plan entwarfen, um noch fehlende Funktionen umzusetzen. Diese Funktionen sind aus unserer Sicht für dein Einsatz im Bereich Kinder- und Jugendarbeit und in Schulen zwingend notwendig - erstens die einfaceh Verfügbarkeit von Kontaktadressen zum Berichten von Missbrauch und Stellen von Fragen und zweitens das Ausblenden von Inhalten fremder Server für neue Benutzer, um in der Standardeinstellung zunächst nicht mit der Verfügbarkeit evtl. schwieriger Inhalte zu überfordern. Beide Funktionen werden vom sehr enageierten Entwickler im Januar 2018 umgesetzt - vielen Dank dafür!
