BigBlueButton (BBB) ist ein freie Kommunikationsplattform, welche von jedem Nutzer über eine Website genutzt werden kann. Man kann nach dem Erstellen eines Accounts eine Konferenz starten, und anschließend andere Personen, die keinen Account brauchen, zu seiner Konferenz einladen. Auch lassen sich diese Dateien in Echtzeit gemeinsam bearbeiten, womit beispielsweise eine Grupenarbeit vereinfacht werden kann. Neben den klassischen Cloud-Funktionen, stehen auch ein gemeinsamer Kalender und eine Umfrage-Funktion zur Verfügung.
Mit Nextcloud kann man Dateien, ohne sie herunterzuladen, im Browser öffnen. Teilt man diese Dateien, kann man Textdateien, Präsentationen und andere Dokumente in Echtzeit gemeinsam bearbeiten.
In den integrierten Kalender können private oder öffentliche Termine eingetragen werden. Es können Bereiche mit den entsprechenden Personen erstellt werden, in denen eingetragene Termine für alle sichtbar sind.
