In der bisherigen Vereinsarbeit haben wir immer nur auf ein vorher vereinbartes Ziel (z.B. einen bestimmten Workshop bei einer Veranstaltung) hingearbeitet. Weil das inhaltliche Ziel im Vordergrund stand, wurde sich **wenig mit neuen Themen** beschäftigt. Ein Beispiel dafür wäre, dass man sich am Anfang des Veranstaltungszyklus auf das Thema pyGame festgelegt hat und dann langfristig nur an Kompetenzen dieses Inhalts gearbeitet hat.
Im neuen Konzept arbeitet jeder in kleineren Zyklen an **Themen und Kompetenzen**, die sie oder ihn gerade interessieren oder weiterbringen; Workshops werden dann erst am Ende des Zyklus so aufgebaut, dass Projektmitglieder ihre Kompetenzen einbringen können.
Der wichtigste Kernaspekt hierbei ist die **Offenheit**, durch die jeder Transitionen (d.h. Sessions) anbieten und wünschen kann, die sie oder ihn interessieren. Das können feste Projektmitglieder sein, aber vor allem auch Externe. Dadurch erhoffen wir uns mehr Innovation bei den gewünschten und angebotenen Skills und Transitionen.
Man kann im neuen Konzept grundsätzlich machen, was man will. Das heißt aber nicht, dass man willkürliche Dinge tut, sondern man kann sowohl nach **Interessen** vorgehen als auch nach **Skills**, die man erwerben möchte, Inhalte aussuchen.Das neue Konzept ist offener gegenüber Neuen und bietet so eine bessere Transition von Teilnehmenden zu Expertinnen und Experten (Experten haben ein gewisses Skill-Set erreicht, aber unterscheiden sich ansonsten nicht von anderen Personen).
Die Beschäftigung mit Themen ist überschaubarer — man kann in einem zeitlich begrenzten Abschnitt an gewissen Themen mitarbeiten, aber hat trotzdem den Ausblick auf **Abwechslung** und die Freiheit, sich nicht konstant mit denselben Inhalten zu beschäftigen.
