Vom 27. bis zum 30.12.2016 fand, wie auch schon letztes Jahr, der Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg statt. Passend dazu organisierte unser Verein, der es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, Kindern und Jugendlichen Informatik näherzubringen, die Veranstaltung „Hack’n’Fun-X-Mas Edition“. Hierbei lernten die 53 Teilnehmer Hamburg kennen und erfuhren vor allem etwas über die verschiedenen Themen des Chaos Communication Congress. (Anm.d.Red.: Auch informationelle Selbstbestimmung gehört zu den Themen des Vereins; auf dem Congress wurde dieses Thema vielfältig behandelt.)
Die einzelnen Teilnehmer reisten entweder ab Köln, Bonn oder Münster als Gruppe mit dem Zug an oder fuhren mit dem Auto direkt zum Selbstversorgerhaus „Haus Warwisch“. Womit wir auch schon bei den Übernachtungen und der Freizeitgestaltung außerhalb Hamburgs oder des Congresses wären. Als wir ankamen, trafen wir uns im Gruppenraum und besprachen einige Regeln, die für die gemeinsame Zeit galten, wie z.B. mit fremdem Eigentum vernünftig umzugehen oder niemanden zu beleidigen.
Als nächstes legten wir Teams zum Abendessen machen, Tisch decken, Küche reinigen, Frühstück vorbereiten und Feudeln (Waschräume säubern) fest. Danach durften wir uns erstmal auf dem Gelände unseres Hauses umsehen oder etwas spielen. Anschließend teilten wir die Zimmer auf und bezogen unsere Betten in dem Siebener-, Sechser-, Achter- und den beiden Zwölferzimmern und trafen uns wieder zum Abendessen. Anschließend besprachen wir die weitere Gestaltung des Abendprogrammes. (Anm.d.Red.: Vorschläge und Abstimmung durch die Teilnehmer.) Letzendlich konnte man sich zwischen dem Spiel „Werwolf“, einem Filmabend oder dem Chillen auf dem Zimmer entscheiden.

webm <span class="filesize"> (5,0MB)</span> </a> </span> herunterladen) für die Kindernachrichtensendung „logo!“ und erkundeten den Congress, auf dem es zum Beispiel 3D-Drucker zu sehen gab. Um 16 Uhr trafen wir uns dann alle auf der Dachterrasse zum Luftdruckraketen-Workshop, bei dem wir Raketen aus Wasserflaschen bauten und diese abschossen. Den Rest des Tages verbrachten wir damit, uns weiter auf dem Congress umzusehen. Man konnte zum Beispiel eigene Spiele von Ausstellern testen, auf einem ferngesteuerten Bierkasten fahren oder sich lustig verpackte aber interessante Vorträge anhören. Bei diesen ging es zum Beispiel um die Gefahren von Vorratsdatenspeicherung, Überwachung im Internet und der Realität oder auch um Antiviren-Programme.
Am nächsten Tag durften wir uns entscheiden, ob wir mit einem extra dafür progammierten Augmented-Reality-Spiel Hamburg erkunden oder nochmal den CCC besichtigen wollten. In der Stadt besuchten wir für eineinhalb Stunden das Zollmuseum, erkundeten in Kleingruppen die Landungsbrücken und kauften uns dort Souvenirs oder Fischbrötchen. Den Abend verbrachten wir wieder im Haus Warwisch und manche Kinder machten eine Nachtwanderung.
