Die Schule vertritt die Überzeugung, dass Lernwerkzeuge grundsätzlich frei zugänglich und verwendbar sein sollten und Lernende im Unterricht davor geschützt werden sollen, den ihre Privatsphäre stark einschränkenden Nutzungsbedingungen sowie den Kundenbindungsbestrebungen großer Softwarekonzerne zustimmen zu müssen.
